Registration

Register as a Team (3-5 pax) by filling up the registration form by 9th Jan 2023. All participants, both professionals or students will compete in the same track.

Virtual Hackathon

Shortlisted teams will be invited to join our virtual event. Briefing will begin on 13th Jan, 9.00am with the full details to kickoff your projects, ending on Sunday.


13th - 15th Jan 2023

Virtual Grand Finals

The Top 10 teams will virtually present your improved and enhanced projects to our panel of Grand Judges on the 28th of January at the Grand Finals.

Here are the 5 challenges we have prepared for this hackathon. You can pick any 1 challenge to solve, or incorporate more than one if it's relevant to your project. Please take note that you don't have to solve all 5 challenges provided below.

You need to fill up the official registration form with your full team details and introduction. Only shortlisted teams will be invited to join.

 

Yes, you need a team. You can have a minimum of 3 or maximum 5 members in a team, including at least 1 coder.

 

You can, as a Team, but make sure you have at least 1 coder in your team so that you can build and submit a working prototype.

 

This Hackathon is open to only those legally residing in Malaysia, Brunei, Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Myanmar, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam.

 

No, RHB Bank employees are not eligible to participate in this Hackathon.

 

You are not required to be in or travel to Kuala Lumpur for any of the activities. You can fully participate via our virtual event platform.

 

You’re required to build an innovative solution in the banking space by solving our challenges. You are encouraged to build something new and exciting to improve banking services.

 

None! This programme is completely free for all eligible participants. The organisers will take care of everything to ensure you have a great hackathon experience.

 

The Virtual Hackathon begins on Friday, 13th Jan at 9.00am and ends on Sunday, 15th Jan. The Grand Finals will be on 28th Jan 2023.

 

We want highly innovative solutions, originality, good design and also evaluate the technical ability of the team members to execute the projects.

 

The teams will be required to submit your projects via cloud storage, and demo your projects live to our panel of judges through our virtual event platform.
